Lighthaus Liverpool is a premier build-to-rent development situated within the ambitious £5 billion Liverpool Waters regeneration area. As Starlight’s first completed new-built project in the UK, it includes 278 contemporary homes on the city’s historic waterfront catering to a dynamic rental market. The development features extensive shared amenities, including a sky lounge, rooftop terrace, and co-working spaces, all designed to support modern urban lifestyles. As a central piece of the city’s largest urban transformation, the building serves as a landmark for high-quality residential living on the Mersey.

Our studio developed a comprehensive wayfinding and placemaking scheme that interprets Liverpool’s maritime heritage through a sophisticated, contemporary lens. Utilizing rounded forms and brass finishes, the signage references nautical lighting and ship windows while maintaining a premium aesthetic. Integrated illumination at the entrance and throughout the interior enhances legibility and reinforces the brand identity. By selecting sustainable materials like brass and aluminium, the studio ensured the final installation provides a distinctive resident experience that aligns with the building’s architectural integrity.
