Awards: British Sign Awards – Wayfinding Scheme of the Year 2019

A premium retail and leisure destination, following a major refurbishment of the former Victorian Post Office, sitting within Liverpool’s main retail district and Castle Street’s conservation area.

Continuing our relationship with Queensberry, we developed the wayfinding and signage scheme taking inspiration from the two-sided nature of the building one entrance modern and the other a listed Victorian frontage.    We used two contrasting materials to reflect this by assigning these materials to the face of the signs aligned with each entrance.

We used Corian, shot-blasted stainless steel and fine details to reflect Metquarter’s upscale offer

Our scope included gaining advertisement consent involving sensitive planning negotiations due to the conservation area and implementation of the scheme. The project was completed on an incredibly tight time frame without compromising quality. Our capacity to provide project management services ensured the client was working with a quality fabricator who delivered the design flawlessly, without compromising quality.
