New Acres

New Acres is Legal & General’s largest build-to-rent (BTR) development to date and one of the largest in the UK. The massive site creates 1034 new homes across 18 buildings featuring new public squares, upgraded station access, improved access to the Thames, 85,000 sq ft of highly curated commercial space and a comprehensive array of amenities including a 25ft heated pool. With a mixture of affordable and market-rate units, New Acres is designed as an inclusive community for people of all ages and interests.

Our team worked with long-time collaborators Lister + Lister and Identity to delivery an exterior and interior wayfinding system that melded perfectly with the architecture, interiors and brand personality.
The wayfinding for each building incorporates subtle variations to keep the signs feeling fresh and unique.

Our team worked tirelessly to deliver this complex project over 15 phased openings spanning an 18 month period. We managed three different signage fabricators, under two separate main contractors, to create a seamless finished product that looked and performed consistently across the whole project. Additionally we helped secure planning permission of sign packages and created a comprehensive tenant signage guideline to help the buzzing economy at the ground level.
