The Goodsyard is a new community in Birmingham’s vibrant Jewellery Quarter. This collection of 6 buildings uses an eclectic architectural design language to celebrate the authentic historical context of this site. Residents enjoy a variety of amenities, indoor and outdoor spaces, secret courtyards and amazing retail offer from local SME’s.

Collaborating with the client’s design team, we delivered a wayfinding programme that not only navigates the architectural complexities of this multi-building site (located on a steep hill) but also celebrate the rebirth of the neighbourhood. Painted murals that show the brand’s playful character. One is a few metres longer than a 747 aircraft! Wayfinding signs are made from durable and high-quality materials such as Corian and brass.

Our team delivered this project over multiple phases and in coordination with demanding planning requirements of a conservation area, national rail boarders and historic buildings.
